Tron Academy Focuses on Talent Development in Higher Education, Gains Media Attention for Blockchain Education Achievements
Since its establishment, the TRON Academy has been dedicated to bringing together talent from top academic institutions worldwide to cultivate the next generation of blockchain leaders and developers.
Recently, MarketWatch, part of the globally renowned media group Dow Jones, published an article titled "Blockchain Clubs Drive Innovation as TRON Academy Achieves Remarkable Success," highlighting TRON Academy's collaborations with leading universities worldwide. The article notes that the TRON leadership team has helped establish the first-ever "Introduction to Blockchain and NFTs" course at Belmont University—the largest Christian university in Tennessee, USA. Additionally, one team that won the 2022 Harvard TRON "Hack House" event has now joined a top-tier startup accelerator program, which will help propel early-stage ventures forward.
The report highlights recent progress in TRON Academy’s partnerships with elite institutions such as Cornell University. The Cornell Blockchain Club and the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Blockchain Club are currently writing academic papers on block production and anonymous transactions, respectively—both of which will be published by TRON upon completion. This news has drawn attention from several authoritative media outlets, including CoinMarketCap, Yahoo Finance, and Crypto Briefing.
Launched during the 2022 TRON Hackathon “Hack House” event, TRON Academy aims to bring together top talent from leading universities around the world to cultivate the next generation of blockchain leaders and developers. To date, it has established collaborative relationships with blockchain clubs at seven major universities, including UCI Blockchain Club (University of California, Irvine), Princeton Blockchain Club (Princeton University), and Texas Blockchain (University of Texas at Austin).

Blockchain Clubs Drive Innovation as TRON Academy Achieves Remarkable Success
Since its inception, TRON Academy has been dedicated to gathering talent from the world’s top academic institutions and nurturing the next generation of blockchain leaders and developers. Recently, TRON Academy has achieved two significant milestones.
First, one of the winning teams from TRON’s “Hack House” event has joined a top-tier startup accelerator program. “Hack House” is an offline initiative under the TRON Hackathon series, aimed at university students building blockchain applications. This marks the first time a Hack House-winning team has entered a premier accelerator program—an important milestone for TRON Academy. The accelerator will support the startup’s growth by providing essential mentorship and networking opportunities. It is reported that TRON Academy will release further announcements in the coming months, revealing more details about the winning team and their minimum viable product (MVP).
Another notable achievement is that the TRON leadership team has assisted Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, in launching its inaugural “Introduction to Blockchain and NFTs” course. Belmont’s president, L. Gregory Jones, formerly dean of Duke University’s Divinity School, is committed to cultivating diverse leaders who are purpose-driven, principled, intellectually gifted, entrepreneurial, and skilled at developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. The university is particularly renowned for its music school, offering programs in music business, composition, and other disciplines designed to train singers and music creators. Other popular majors at Belmont include nursing, law, neuroscience, education, business, design, and marketing.
Additional updates from TRON Academy include:
● The Cornell University Blockchain Club will publish a paper on block production, to be released by TRON DAO upon completion.
● The University of California, Irvine (UCI) Blockchain Club is preparing a paper on anonymous transactions, which will also be published by TRON DAO upon completion.
