According to people familiar with the matter, Apple (AAPL.O) is preparing to comprehensively upgrade its Mac product line to capture the growth in demand for high-performance laptops and desktops driven by the artificial intelligence boom. Apple is preparing to launch new versions of all its currently available Mac models this fall and next year, including highly anticipated desktop computers, multiple laptop models, and a redesigned MacBook Pro. According to sources, the new computers will start with an updated 14-inch MacBook Pro; this model will be one of the first Mac computers to feature the new M6 chip, and the lineup will also include the first all-new iMac in two years.
