TechFlow News, June 16: According to Bloomberg, African fintech company Flutterwave sold a stake in its company to blockchain firm Ripple, valuing the company at $3.3 billion post-transaction.
Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboluaje stated that this partnership aims to accelerate the company’s growth through payment business expansion and strategic collaboration, though Ripple’s investment amount and shareholding percentage were not disclosed. Flutterwave currently operates in 35 African countries.
