TechFlow News, June 14: According to GlobeNewswire, Ebang International, a Nasdaq-listed company, announced that its subsidiary has successfully acquired an industrial land parcel in Xinghe County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and plans to build a high-efficiency amorphous and nanocrystalline new materials production base.
The project will leverage Inner Mongolia’s abundant wind and photovoltaic power resources, as well as local clean energy policy advantages, to focus on R&D and manufacturing of amorphous and nanocrystalline new materials.
According to disclosures by the company, the production base will specialize in manufacturing high magnetic permeability and ultra-low-loss materials. Products meet the latest transformer energy-efficiency standards set by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and can be applied across multiple fields—including photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, new-energy power conversion equipment, and intelligent data centers.
As global demand for AI computing power and new-energy infrastructure construction continues to grow, high-performance power materials are attracting increasing market attention. This move also reflects Ebang International’s broader strategic expansion beyond the digital asset industry into new materials and new-energy-related sectors.
