TechFlow News: On April 21, Justin Sun, Global Advisor to HTX, made a high-profile virtual appearance at the Hong Kong opening ceremony of the HTX Genesis Hackathon, sharing his latest insights on the application prospects of AI Agent technology in the Web3 space and the industry’s future development trajectory. He stated that AI Agents will replace traditional interaction methods and become the core driving force of the next phase of the Web3 ecosystem.
He explained that past Web3 applications often involved steep learning curves and complex on-chain interactions; the introduction of AI Agents will drive decentralized applications (DApps) to evolve from “manual operation” to “intent-driven” interaction based on natural language. This means AI Agents can autonomously understand user needs, automatically plan execution paths, and complete complex on-chain settlements—including cross-chain operations and transactions. This paradigm shift toward intelligence and autonomy will not only significantly unleash on-chain productivity but also serve as a breakthrough point to overcome Web3’s user-growth bottleneck and lead the industry toward genuine mass adoption.
The HTX Genesis Hackathon is organized by HTX DAO and B.AI, with co-organizers TinTinLand and OpenCity, and has attracted participation from numerous developer communities, investment institutions, projects, exchanges, and public-chain ecosystems.
