TechFlow News, April 21: According to DL News, an attempted armed robbery occurred at the home of a 40-year-old cryptocurrency professional in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, near Montpellier, France. The suspect, disguised as a delivery person, entered the residence and demanded the victim surrender the private key to their cryptocurrency wallet. The victim seized an opportunity when the suspect was distracted, tackled him to the ground, and seized his handgun. Gunshots were fired at the scene, but no one was injured. The suspect fled the scene but was arrested by police three days later after a manhunt. Local courts have charged him with attempted armed robbery, and prosecutors stated he may have acted under the direction of a mastermind.
