TechFlow News: On April 4, Anthropic announced that, effective April 5, Claude subscription plans will no longer include access to third-party tools such as OpenClaw. Anthropic stated that its current subscription model was not designed for usage of third-party tools, and this adjustment aims to prioritize the user experience for those directly using Claude products and APIs, thereby enabling sustainable growth. Existing subscribers will receive a one-time credit equivalent to their current month’s subscription fee; they may also opt to purchase discounted usage packages or request a full refund via email.
