ETHTaipei 2025 and ETHGlobal officially announce collaboration, with Vitalik Buterin confirmed to attend in Taiwan

Taipei News – March 5, 2025 – ETHTaipei 2025, the annual flagship event of the Ethereum ecosystem, will take place at POPOP Taipei (Nangang Bottle Cap Factory) in April 2025. As the third edition of ETHTaipei, this year marks the first collaboration with ETHGlobal, a globally renowned hackathon organizer, creating a dual-format event featuring a two-day conference and a three-day hackathon. Notably, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum who has been out of the public eye for some time, will make a rare appearance to participate in the two-day conference and engage directly with developers in Taiwan, promising numerous surprises.

Conference Focuses on Ethereum's Technical Frontier, Gathering Global Speakers in Taipei

The official ETHTaipei 2025 conference will span two days on April 1 and April 2. It brings together numerous high-profile speakers, headlined by Vitalik Buterin himself, who will deliver a keynote speech and join multiple panel discussions, sharing his insights on the latest technological advancements within the Ethereum ecosystem. While Vitalik remains tight-lipped about his exact topic, merely hinting that "it will be a surprise," anticipation across the industry is already mounting.
