Tether Compliant Stablecoin USAT Launches on Celo, First Expansion Beyond Ethereum Network

According to The Block, Tether's compliant stablecoin USAT, which complies with the U.S. "GENIUS Act", has officially launched on the Celo network, marking its second mainnet deployment following the Ethereum mainnet. USAT is issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank regulated by the OCC, with a market cap reaching $185 million.
