TechFlow reports, on July 7, Bitget Wallet announced that its global user count has officially surpassed 100 million, with payment volume exceeding trading volume for the first time. Currently, Bitget Wallet Card issuance has surpassed 150,000, covering over 50 countries and regions worldwide. In the first half of 2026, cumulative card spending surpassed $33 million, increasing by over 2 times compared to the second half of 2025, with emerging markets growing by 416%. Meanwhile, among new users, nearly half used scan-to-pay in emerging markets. Specifically, Vietnam QR Pay cumulative transaction volume grew 4 times in half a year; Nigeria bank transfer spending volume increased by over 80% in half a year, with the number of payments increasing by over 60%.
Bitget Wallet stated that more than half of the platform's users come from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America; stablecoins are being used by local users as dollar accounts for daily savings, receiving payments, and consumption; and the focus of crypto wallet usage is shifting from trading to daily finance.
