TechFlow News: On June 6, according to on-chain analyst Yujin’s monitoring, ETH dropped as low as $1,540 in the early morning, triggering the liquidation of a whale’s position with a liquidation price of $1,565. A total of 21,540 ETH—worth approximately $33.7 million—was liquidated. Immediately after this liquidation, the price rebounded and did not fall further.
The whale’s current borrowed position still holds 82,871 ETH (valued at approximately $132 million), with two remaining liquidation prices at $1,527 and $1,459 respectively—only about $70 below the current price. Should the price continue declining, there remains a risk of further liquidation.
