TechFlow news, June 4: According to a Reuters report, Reform UK—led by Nigel Farage—raised £9.3 million in Q1 2026, marking the third consecutive quarter in which its fundraising exceeded that of the UK’s major political parties; part of this funding came from large donations by cryptocurrency investors.
Data shows that Christopher Harborne donated over £3 million to Reform UK, while Ben Delo, co-founder of BitMEX, donated £4 million. In the same period, the Labour Party raised £4 million and the Conservative Party raised £4.2 million. The report also states that the UK Labour Party proposed banning political donations made in cryptocurrency form in March.
