TechFlow News, April 20: According to a PBS report, U.S. President Trump stated on Monday that “a lot of bombs will go off” if the ceasefire agreement with Iran expires on Tuesday. Trump made these remarks during a phone call with White House reporter Liz Landers, a conversation focused on the Iran war issue amid preparations by a U.S. delegation for further peace talks.
When asked whether Iran would still attend the upcoming talks in Islamabad, Trump replied, “I don’t know. I mean, they’re supposed to be there. It’s scheduled. We’ll see if they show up. If they don’t, that’s okay too.”
Asked about his expectations for these negotiations, Trump said: “It’s very simple—they absolutely cannot have nuclear weapons.” (Jinshi)
