TechFlow News: On April 15, the blockchain gaming infrastructure team Lattice announced it will gradually shut down after five years of operation. Its Redstone network will officially cease operations at 23:59 UTC on May 15, 2026. Lattice urges users to withdraw their funds from Redstone as soon as possible—especially assets held in smart contracts such as those on Uniswap—as, following shutdown, only Layer-1 withdrawal contracts will be available for standard externally owned accounts (EOAs); funds held within smart contracts cannot be retrieved via this method.
Lattice was founded in 2021 with a mission to build autonomous virtual worlds on-chain. During its tenure, it developed projects including MUD, Redstone, Quarry, and Dozer. The team stated that the DUST project has migrated to DUST Chain and will continue to be supported by 0xPARC. Meanwhile, MUD, Quarry, and Dozer have all been open-sourced, allowing users full freedom to migrate and utilize them.
