TechFlow News, March 16: According to Zhitong Finance, Google’s (GOOGL.US) artificial intelligence (AI) model Gemini will launch comprehensively in Hong Kong. Media reports indicate that Google has announced the opening of Gemini access to all users in Hong Kong. This update will be rolled out in phases—initially prioritizing the widespread adoption of the Gemini web application, followed later by the mobile app.
Following the expansion of Gemini’s availability to Hong Kong, local users will be able to directly leverage Google’s AI models to assist with everyday tasks—including drafting complex emails, brainstorming ideas for personal plans, and planning family trips. Users can also process and generate multimedia content such as images and music, and interact with information via text, images, and voice. However, Google has not disclosed whether the version being launched includes the latest iteration of the model.
