TechFlow News, March 13: According to a GlobeNewswire report, Robinhood released its February operational report, revealing that its cryptocurrency trading volume reached $25 billion—up 9% month-on-month and 74% year-on-year. Of this total, cryptocurrency trading volume on the Robinhood App amounted to $9.4 billion, while Bitstamp’s trading volume reached $15.6 billion. In contrast, traditional finance (TradFi) trading on the Robinhood platform declined: stock trading volume fell 14% month-on-month to $194.4 billion; options contract trading volume dropped 10% month-on-month to 180.3 million contracts; and prediction market event contract trading volume—offered by Robinhood—plummeted 29% month-on-month to 2.4 billion contracts.
