TechFlow News: According to Caixin, on March 6, two victims exchanged approximately HK$10 million at a money exchange shop in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, and were subsequently robbed at knifepoint inside the Sheung Wan MTR station. However, thanks to prior police deployment, both suspects and the stolen cash were apprehended, and the victims suffered no financial loss. It is reported that three high-value cash robbery cases have occurred in Sheung Wan over the past three months. Two similar incidents involving large cash robberies targeting cryptocurrency exchange shops took place on December 18, 2025, and January 30, respectively. Hong Kong police stated they will conduct an in-depth investigation into whether other individuals or criminal syndicates are involved behind the scenes, as well as whether this case is linked to the previous robbery incidents.
