TechFlow reports that on February 17, according to Bitcoin Magazine, the Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) stated in an interview with Fox that the Digital Commodities Consumer Protection Act is “imminent” for signing into law. The CFTC Chairman emphasized: “We want to establish a forward-looking statutory framework for cryptocurrencies. We cannot allow a ‘Gary Gensler 2.0’ to emerge and destroy it all.” He also stated: “We will ensure this bill passes smoothly.”
