HashKey Group will leverage its institutional network service capabilities and industry insights to facilitate ecosystem connections with traditional financial institutions and digital asset service providers, supporting the design and implementation of digital asset business models.
HashKey Group, an established comprehensive digital asset company in Asia, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korean internet bank Kbank and blockchain technology enterprise BPMG Group. The three parties will engage in deep cooperation focused on digital asset business model development and technical implementation. This collaboration is a key step for the "Asia Connect"strategy in the Korean market, signifying that as the Group connects major Asian digital asset markets and promotes the coordinated development of regional financial infrastructure, it is further accelerating the construction and implementation of next-generation financial infrastructure.
South Korea is one of the most vibrant digital asset markets globally. As a leading internet bank in South Korea, Kbank has approximately 16 million customers and possesses deep user insights and service experience in the digital finance sector. BPMG is a key technical force in South Korea's blockchain and AI sectors. Previously, it has conducted cross-border payment proof-of-concept cooperation based on KRW stablecoins with Kbank in Thailand and the UAE. By joining this partnership, HashKey Group will fully leverage its extensive expertise in compliant digital asset infrastructure, creating synergy with Kbank's banking financial service capabilities and BPMG's technical advantages to jointly explore the application and implementation of KRW stablecoins in scenarios such as cross-border payments and trade settlement.
In terms of specific cooperation, HashKey Group will leverage its institutional network service capabilities and industry insights to facilitate ecosystem connections with traditional financial institutions and digital asset service providers, aiding the design and implementation of digital asset business models; Kbank will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the compliance and feasibility of these innovative business models within the Korean financial environment; BPMG will lead business cooperation through its US subsidiary ARACORE, primarily providing technical support and responsible for building stablecoin-based underlying payment and settlement infrastructure. The three parties will collaborate closely to jointly explore the global digital asset market.
HashKey Group has always been committed to building interconnected Asian digital asset infrastructure, fully leveraging its core advantages in global compliant licensing footprint, institutional-grade digital asset services, and cross-jurisdictional operations. Currently, the Group has established deep business partnerships in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UAE (Dubai). This signing of the MOU with Korean partners will further strengthen the Group's connection with Korean financial and technology institutions, laying the foundation for expanding Asian cross-border payment, settlement, and digital asset service scenarios.
