HashKey Holdings Limited (3887.HK), a Hong Kong-listed company, recently announced the launch of Agent Skills, further advancing the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital asset services. This launch marks a pivotal shift—AI is evolving from an information-assistance tool into an operational entry point for business processes, underscoring HashKey’s ongoing commitment to building “next-generation financial infrastructure empowered by AI.”

As AI technologies advance rapidly, AI Agents are progressing beyond mere information processing to increasingly demonstrate intent understanding and task execution capabilities. In the digital asset domain, this means AI is no longer limited to helping users analyze markets or provide recommendations—it now holds the potential to directly participate in real-world business operations such as account management and trade execution. Balancing efficiency and security throughout this evolution has become a core industry concern.

In this context, HashKey’s Agent Skills are designed to provide AI with clearer, more controllable pathways for business execution—enabling it to carry out a sequence of operations aligned with user objectives while maintaining essential risk controls and user confirmation mechanisms. Compared to traditional interface-call-centric models, this capability adopts a more task-centric interaction paradigm, making AI’s role in financial services more intuitive and practically implementable.

Devin Zhang, CTO of HashKey Group, stated: “As AI begins participating in real business workflows, enterprise focus is shifting—from model capabilities themselves toward permission control, scope of execution, and end-to-end traceability. Only within a governance framework characterized by layered authority, controllability, and full auditability can AI enter core financial scenarios.”

This launch also reflects HashKey’s holistic AI strategy. Currently, AI is being progressively deployed across multiple internal functions—including operations, product development, security & risk management, and customer service. Building on this foundation, HashKey is now extending its AI capabilities outward into its external service ecosystem—transforming AI from an internal efficiency enhancer into a critical access point connecting users with digital financial services.

In terms of use cases, developers and AI product teams can leverage Agent Skills to enable AI assistants to perform tasks such as account information queries and market analysis, with user confirmation required at critical decision points—thus enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring effective control over fund-related actions. This “intent-driven + user-confirmed” interaction model is emerging as a key direction for digital financial services.

In the short term, Agent Skills will help developers and institutions integrate with digital asset services more efficiently, lowering adoption barriers and improving execution stability. In the long term, as AI capabilities continue to evolve, the way users interact with financial services will undergo profound transformation—users express goals, systems interpret, decompose, and execute them, while platforms provide secure, compliant execution frameworks.

Through this evolution, HashKey is gradually positioning itself as a key infrastructure provider bridging AI and financial services. The launch of Agent Skills represents not merely a product upgrade but also reflects the evolving role of digital asset platforms in the AI era—from transaction matching and service providers to foundational infrastructure enabling intelligent execution.

As AI and digital assets continue converging, capability systems built around execution pathways, permission management, and risk control will become vital industry priorities. HashKey remains committed to exploring further real-world applications of AI in financial contexts, driving digital finance toward a new stage—more efficient, more intelligent, and more robust.
