Aptos Movemaker launches $2 million grant program and dedicated co-creation space in Hong Kong to empower builders

Movemaker, the official community organization under the Aptos Foundation, has officially launched the "Movemaker Grant Program" and introduced a new co-creation space—Aptos Space. This initiative underscores Movemaker's commitment to advancing the development of the Aptos blockchain ecosystem, particularly within the Chinese-speaking region, while accelerating global Web3 innovation.

Backed by millions of dollars in funding and resources from the Aptos Foundation, Movemaker aims to empower developers, support innovative projects, and cultivate a vibrant community.

Empowering Innovation Through the Movemaker Grant Program

The Movemaker Grant Program will provide funding, strategic guidance, and technical support to projects building on the Aptos blockchain, with key focus areas including DeFi, artificial intelligence, payment solutions, stablecoins, and RWA (Real World Assets). In the first phase of the program, Movemaker has allocated $2 million to support the growth of developers and projects.

Centered on the principles of "Building, Community, and Support," the grant program aims to offer promising projects the following benefits:

• Funding support: Accelerate project development and scaling.

• Strategic and technical mentorship: Provide expert guidance for developers building on Aptos.

• Talent and branding support: Increase project visibility and user adoption.

The program will prioritize builders and projects from the Chinese-speaking region, while also welcoming global teams to join the Aptos ecosystem and help grow this market.

Aptos Space: A Collaboration Hub for Builders and Innovators

As an added benefit of the Movemaker Grant Program, funded teams will gain access to Aptos Space—a new physical co-creation space located in central Hong Kong. Aptos Space will also serve as a venue for offline events and builder meetups hosted by Movemaker, attracting Web3 talent from both the Chinese-speaking region and around the world.

Key initiatives for 2025 include:

• Ambassador Program: Establish a team of “Ecosystem Ambassadors” who align with Movemaker’s vision for Web3.
