At TOKEN2049, during the side event "Back To The Streets" hosted by MEET48 and the hackathon organized by TON Foundation, MEET48 COO Kai Xu delivered an engaging brand presentation and speech on "Mass Adoption of Web3 Idol Entertainment and Fan Economy."
On the evening of September 18, MEET48 successfully hosted the Web3 & AI party "Back To The Streets" at Clarke Quay in Singapore, attracting over a thousand registrants and creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The MEET48 GIPR2 Top7 idols (Zhang Qiongyu, Liu Zengyan, Zeng Aijia, Yang Bingyi, Zhang Xin, Liu Lifei, Chen Ke) delivered a spectacular audiovisual performance blending Web3 technology with entertainment elements, earning wave after wave of applause and cheers. Their performance attracted significant attention from both industry insiders and the general public, and received enthusiastic feedback from MEET48’s global fanbase, further highlighting MEET48's strategic global expansion and pivotal role within the Web3 ecosystem.
Later that night, the MEET48 GIPR2 Top7 idols held a fan meet-and-greet at the party, warmly shaking hands and interacting with fans from around the world.
On August 2, 2025, MEET48 plans to integrate SNH48 idols to host a global idol voting event in Hong Kong, further expanding the international influence of MEET48 and the entire 48-group idol network. The event will attract fans and participants worldwide, becoming a grand occasion where virtual and real-life idols compete on the same stage, breaking through Web3 via entertainment and leading Web3 into the era of mass adoption.
