Tether Gold Token XAUT Receives Shariah Certification

TechFlow News, on July 27, Tether announced that its gold-backed digital asset XAUT has received Shariah compliance certification issued by Amanah Advisors. The certification confirms that XAU₮ complies with Islamic finance principles in aspects such as physical gold ownership, asset reserve transparency, no interest, no leverage, and no speculative derivatives.

This move is expected to promote the application of XAU₮ in scenarios such as Islamic banking, Islamic insurance, Halal savings, trade financing, and collateral, and facilitate its further expansion in Gulf countries, South Asia, Africa, and international Islamic finance centers.
