TechFlow News, April 7: U.S. Vice President Vance commented on the Iran issue, stating that “this war will end soon.” He noted that Iran has two paths forward and that its actions now will determine the outcome. Vance emphasized, “We hope Iran will be wise,” and stated that “the military objectives of the Iran war have been accomplished.” He further clarified that the strike on Kharg Island does not signify a strategic shift. Vance acknowledged that “there will be extensive negotiations,” but reiterated the U.S. deadline for Iran as 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday. He observed, “Iran has never been the swiftest in negotiations—and it still isn’t,” yet added, “The U.S. is confident Iran will respond.” (Jin10)
