TechFlow News, March 5: According to a Reuters report, the UK Treasury announced on Monday that the UK and US governments will establish the “Transatlantic Future Markets Working Group” to reduce cumbersome procedures for businesses accessing each other’s capital markets and enhance cooperation in the crypto-asset sector. The working group will submit a report within 180 days, outlining short-term collaborative improvements and long-term options—particularly in the wholesale digital markets domain. This initiative has been approved by UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and will be co-chaired by officials from both countries’ treasuries, with participation from regulatory authorities in both nations.
