Introduction

Following the release of our first-half technical roadmap centered on LazAI, we are officially launching Metis Hyperion (HYPE), fulfilling our commitment to building next-generation Layer 2 infrastructure and elevating the Layer 2 ecosystem to a new dimension. As a new-generation high-performance Layer 2 network, Hyperion achieves a perfect balance among scalability, decentralization, and real-time transaction efficiency through breakthrough technologies.

Metis Hyperion (HYPE) is built on the Metis SDK, with one of its core components being the high-performance virtual machine, MetisVM. This virtual machine not only maintains compatibility with the Ethereum ecosystem but also provides dedicated infrastructure support for AI applications, demonstrating unparalleled performance advantages in smart contract execution scenarios such as DeFi, blockchain gaming, and AI inference.
