Centrifuge and Plume Network form strategic partnership to jointly drive next-generation RWA innovation in the DeFi space

On January 31, 2025, Centrifuge, a leading institution in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, today announced a strategic partnership with Plume Network to jointly advance institutional-grade RWA solutions through Nest, Plume’s flagship staking protocol. As one of Plume’s first ecosystem partners, Centrifuge will contribute Anemoy’s regulated liquid treasury fund (LTF) to its low-risk government bond vault, enabling users to access AAA-rated yield products backed by real-world assets.

Through Nest’s yield-streaming and underlying-asset decoupling technology, developers can now build new financial instruments. Users can seamlessly access, trade, and diversify into institutional-grade yield opportunities curated by top-tier protocols and asset managers, achieving yield diversification within the Plume ecosystem.

The Nest protocol allows users to deposit stablecoins (USDC/USDT) into vaults holding high-quality assets that continuously generate yield via on-chain and off-chain tools. All vaults operate on a fully permissionless smart contract architecture, allowing any user with a crypto wallet to participate. Centrifuge brings real-world assets onto the blockchain, enabling asset managers to tokenize and circulate portfolios on-chain.

This collaboration will drive three key advancements:

• Institutional-grade asset issuance: Centrifuge will conduct RWA tokenization directly on Plume Network, introducing compliant, real-asset-backed opportunities to the ecosystem

• Regulated yield innovation: Anemoy’s Liquid Treasury Fund—a fully compliant on-chain U.S. Treasury solution—will integrate with Nest’s flagship government bond vault, combining institutional-grade yields with DeFi accessibility

• Investment ecosystem integration: Centrifuge and Plume will jointly develop tools to enable unified access for retail and institutional investors to innovative RWA products, advancing the democratization of on-chain wealth creation
